Original Spanish quality, very good dishes and friendly staff, ideally suited to linger, those who prefer Spanish dishes will definitely rave about there
A sensational paella to pick up every Monday in lockdown. If the sea and the beach were still nearby: a culinary holiday in Spain!
Very friendly, paella on Monday was great and cheap (€ 10 per serving).
Good food, especially fish, nice ambience
Was delicious, paella was good.
Great dishes with great service!
Great selection of tapas and other Spanish specialities. Rustic, cosy atmosphere.
Great food, great service, completely satisfied. What a wonderful evening!
Ideal restaurant to taste typical Spanish dishes. Nice interior, quick and pleasant service.
Great service, excellent food!
Nice Tapas and very good fish dishes.
Great ambience and the food tasted very good. That's it with the positive feedback. The staff was rude and there were long waiting times. These did not arise because there was a lot to do. We were done with the main course, it was cleared and we had empty drinks. We waited 20 minutes until we were "allowed" to reorder something. Meanwhile, the waitresses stood at the bar, had a drink and then went out for a smoke. The portion size of the paella for 3 people would have been just enough for 2 people to be full. Even with dessert, I left hungry. It was better for the dessert. The price is as you would expect from a Spaniard, but too high for these portion sizes. Will not be back and will not recommend it to anyone.
Today, Monday, used paella day and ate delicious. The dessert with crema catalana and torta chocolate caliente was also very tasty. Always my pleasure.
Super delicious food in Munich's oldest Spanish restaurant! Fast and very friendly service. We'll be back!
Booked spontaneously online via open table (20 minutes in advance) we were very lucky that there was still something free. Fully booked minutes later. The waitresses were very friendly and funny. The service was very quick and well-planned. The sangria is delicious and the tapas excellent (we had pretty much everything except seafood). Nice atmosphere and we'll definitely come back next time in Munich.
Festa de tapas...Very nice and good plate.
The mixed plate is fantastic ! Everything smells delicious. Will try paella next time
Very good food, courteous, personable service in the various tapas were sensational.
The best Spaniard in Munich! The Centro Espanol is a real institution and always worth a visit. The tapas and main courses are simply delicious. Boquerones and pimientos for snacks and a paella with Kanincgen and Chorzio that you share with friends are just one of hundreds of possible combinations for a successful evening. The homemade sangria is refreshing and goes perfectly with the spicy dishes. The in-house bodega has a good selection of directly imported Spanish wines and the friendly service reliably meets the tastes of the guests.
Very, very tasty tapas, great taste! However, it is quite expensive for the size of the portions. I find 8.50 euros for less than ten thin slices of chorizo a bit disproportionate. Unfortunately it is quite loud even on normal evenings without music. Maybe not very suitable for a date. :-)
Eat real nices the paella is good but the starters are just as good as those served in Italy the bread is still warm when it is served. However, it is very hectic because of the few employees but otherwise perfect
Really good. Yes, a little pricey, but the standard is high and the atmosphere is great.
The food was unfortunately very mediocre and has little to do with authentic Spanish cuisine. I like to spend more on good quality, but only the prices here were high. The service was friendly. But that's about it. I would not recommend the restaurant.
I was not really excited by the tapas- we did not try any paellas though. The service was super slow and they often completely forgot some requests: To bring a blanket, bring water, bring the bill. Considering the whole experience, I found the place too expensive. We loved the live music on Saturday evening and the atmosphere is really nice outside.
Very nice customer service, a bit pricey. But food is awesome, really nice atmosphere in the restaurant
Food is good, but somewhat expensive.
The food was awesome. Sadly, I couldn't get a picture of the Parts Bravas or the Puntillitas, but the Paela was amazing.
It's not for nothing that Munich's oldest and best Spaniard. The food is excellent but not cheap either. Almost nothing works without a reservation. Tables are very close together and so it is very, very loud in the whole restaurant. Priced a bit too expensive.
Amazing. The food was very delicious. However if you would order the classical Black Paella, with a black tint and a lot of Seafood, be very careful. Extremely tasty but very.... black. One drop could easily ruin your clothing. Very good wine. Can recommend the assorted dessert. Cream brulee with caramel, classical panna cotta, ice and sherbet, whipped cream with candied almonds, brownie with chocolate cream. Everything was a high quality and well served. Live music (Feliz Navidad). Friendly staff. Can definitely recommend to my friends and colleagues.
Black paella tastes very good just a little too salty. The others are relatively normal, I do not think so surprised! And sangria does not taste good!
This place is perfect! Tapas - perfect! Top wine! Spanish spoken of course and the staff was so nice and funny! Will go back for sure :)
Excellent
Great tapas will go back to try the rest
Delicious food and wine, fun atmosphere, and if you're lucky, live music. Definitely a neighborhood gem!
If you want to have real Valencia style paella, this is the place. also gambas is good
This should be rated as one of the top cosy restaurant in Munich. The food was delicious and staff was friendly. The sitting is a bit cramped especially if if you get the two people table. It's a bit loud inside, so if you want some peace and quite this not the place. The restaurant is on the "a bit expensive than average" end for Munich but it's is worth the money. Oh you can pay with card so relax no need to carry cash and dogs are welcome as well.
This restaurant is overpriced (for the food and ambiance they offer) with very small portions, as main dishes. The service is ok.
Good foods....
A bit on the more expensive side , but daaaaamn! Absolutely worth it!! The food is just phenomenal. I usually think that Spanish cuisine is a bit salty but this one is just fabulous. It's cosy and homey and I would definetly recommend it. 10/10 :-)
Very nice staff and the meals were delicious too!
Very cozy and the food is excellent! Unfortunately there is no own parking.
A little bit overpriced and very crowded!
Nice Spanish dishes. At peak time it can get a little crowded.
Cosy interior, great place for meeting with friends as it is not too loud, very friendly and attentive staff.
I like the restaurant very much. The paella was a bit too salty. Tapas were quite nice. Dessert mandel ice cream was very nice.
Google map says it is open until 1 am But by that time I arrived the kitchen was closed!!! and was there specifically for dinner and only the bar is open
Excellent paella and tapas! One of the oldest Spanish restaurants on town.
Paella was on sale on Monday. I took this opportunity to taste it. I didn’t think the taste was amazing. I didn’t plan to evaluate it, but, but! I went to Nice and found that the paella is delicious, and the waiter sister served very promptly
This is a great place with great food but what really led me to giving five stars is that the customer service was friendly, accomodating, and pro-active. Definitely glad I discovered this place and I will definitely go back.
Nice place and good environment. A bit compact and expensive. But one would get unique well presented meals.
